Kendal Civic Society

Stricklandgate House has recently been awarded a large grant from the Heritage Lottery Fund to finance the renovation of this fine Listed Building. Part of the commitment to obtain the funding was to provide a small exhibition/museum within the building and the Society became involved from a very early stage. The work to acheive this has now begun and should be in place some time in 2009.
