Planning Application
This has been rumbling on since the developer started work in July 2008, and was stopped when he took construction vehicles down the lane. He insists that he has a right to do so. We and neighbours on Garth Heads are continuing to urge the Planning Officers to insist that he keep to the conditions of the permission granted in 1992 i.e. that all work must be done by handbarrowing. Representatives of Kendal Town Council are meeting the Planning and Enforcement Officers, so we hope for a satisfactory resolution. Watch this space.
